Radiofrequency (FORMA-I)

Forma-I is a nonsurgical treatment delivering bipolar frequency technology to smaller, more delicate subdermal layers to reduce dry eye symptoms, including red, watery, itchy eyes. This technology is equipped with built-in temperature controls to allow the device to reach the clinically proven optimal temperature for effective and safe treatments.

Forma-I is based on InModes’s A.C.E (Acquire, Control, Extend) technology, targeting specific areas with no area being under or over treated, ensuring maximum, consistent results.

How does Forma-I work?

Forma-I feels like a warm massage in the eye area, improving blood circulation. By treating the periorbital region and eyelids, Forma-I can help alleviate dry eye symptoms by delivering heat energy to the obstructed Meibomian glands. An added bonus, the development of collagen will occur to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Intense Pulsed Light (LUMECCA)

Lumecca is a powerful intense pulsed light (IPL) used to treat dry eye, ocular rosacea, and blepharitis. It operates using photothermolysis, delivering light pulses that target abnormal blood vessels and pigmented lesions and patients have noticed a difference after just one use. Lumecca reduces inflammatory levels along the eyelid margins and light energy can be adjusted for optimal comfort and can be tailored to your specific needs.

Benefits of Lumecca

In 1-4 sessions Lumecca improves:

  • Ocular rosacea

Zocular Lid Hygiene

Did you know that more than 85% of “dry eyes” are caused by residue on the eyelid margin like dirt, oil and other deposits which can irritate your eyes and cause symptoms of dry eye like itchiness and redness. With each blink additional dirt and debris covers the tear film coating the eye, causing soreness and dryness.

Zocular is not an artificial tear substitute, which targets the wrong issue and provides only temporary relief of dry eyes in this case. Zocular technology uses okra-infused Zocusome micelles to gently lift dirt and debris from the eyelid margins to relieve symptoms of dry eye, itchiness and redness to allow the skin to appear more healthy and most importantly, more comfortable!

Amniotic Membrane

Amniotic membranes are a newly engineered treatment option for a number of surface ocular diseases, corneal conditions in which significant damage to the surface of the eye has occurred, and difficult cases of dry eye disease as well. They are made of ethically obtained stem cell tissues and treated with antibiotics during collection.

Autologous Serum Eye Drops

Autologous Serum Eye Drops are specialized eye drops made from your own blood! These unique drops can be used to treat a variety of ocular surface diseases. These drops are designed to mimic the biochemical properties of natural basal tears in order to heal the eye upon application.

Scleral Contact Lenses

Sclerals are a special type of contact lens designed to cover your entire corneal surface. This is in contrast to regular soft contact lenses which only partially cover the surface of the eye. It is a hard contact lens that can last up to a year with proper care.

Optometrists usually recommend scleral lenses after they’ve attempted more traditional dry eye treatments. These lenses won’t cure your dry eye but can be an effective way to combat dry eye disease and help provide long-term relief.
